There are many creative ways to use Afterparty and we encourage you to test the delivery of your message to be as on-brand as possible. For example, many merchants will design their Thank You page message to look like it came from the founder of the brand, leading to more people clicking the CTA.
In general, consider structuring your block this way, • Header: Be clear about the value • Earn $25 more • Message: Be clear about the why • We value every survey response so we can create the best experience for you! • Button: Be clear about the CTA • Take the survey
Our general recommendation is if the link is going to a page on your own site, don’t turn this on. If the link is taking them off of your website, turn it on so this tab stays on your page.
If you want to measure the engagement on your Afterparty block, we recommend: • Using Bit.ly or something similar to track clicks. • Using Tally.so for surveys. • Using an Afterparty-designated discount code. • Using UTMs if you are sending customers somewhere on your own website.
We currently do not have A/B testing available, but other merchants have gotten creative: • Use the above tracking ideas to measure performance. • Disabling the Afterparty block during a test period to measure incrementality. • Changing the messaging in equal time amounts to gauge efficacy of copy.
